Wildman Harrold Partner James A. Christman Named Fellow of American College of Trial Lawyers

Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon LLP is pleased to announce that partner James A. Christman has been inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers, a preeminent organization of attorneys within the trial bar in the U.S. and Canada. Christman was sworn in recently at the organization’s annual meeting in Boston.

Invitation into the College is limited to no more than one percent of the total lawyer population of any state. Candidates must possess an impressive record of trial successes with recommendations from both judges and opposing counsel. Christman is the sixth Wildman Harrold partner to be inducted into the College; Thomas D. Allen, James P. Dorr, Jerald P. Esrick, Bernard Harrold and Max Wildman are all Fellows.

“Jim’s inclusion among this elite group of trial lawyers comes as no surprise to his colleagues and friends. We have watched him live out a career of strong courtroom and trial achievements,” said Robert L. Shuftan, managing partner. “We are proud of his accomplishments and are pleased that the organization has recognized another one of our partners for fellowship in the College.”

Christman is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Health Care practices, and counsels and litigates for clients on matters related to contracts, commercial disputes, fiduciary duty, professional liability, and director and officer liability. He also works extensively with physicians and physicians groups on healthcare and regulatory matters. He has had approximately 45 jury verdicts in multiple jurisdictions. A speaker on health care topics, Mr. Christman earned his undergraduate degree from DePauw University and his law degree from Washington University.
