Wildman Harrold Ranks Prominently in 2008 Chambers USA Guide

Recognized by Clients and Peers as Leaders in Litigation, Transactions and IP

CHICAGO – Wildman Harrold has ranked prominently in the 2008 edition of the Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, securing recognition for all three of the firm's core legal practices: Litigation, Business Transactions and Intellectual Property. The following attorneys were also recognized as leading attorneys in their respective fields: William Cook, Michael Dockterman, Jim Dorr, Justine Gottshall, Joseph Madonia, Michael McCluggage and Thomas Smedinghoff.

“There is no greater honor than the esteem given by clients. We are pleased to have had our core practices of litigation, business transactions and IP recognized and to be among the featured firms in Chambers. We also congratulate the individual attorneys whose efforts and work have stood out for inclusion in this prestigious listing,” said Wildman Harrold Managing Partner, Robert Shuftan.

Wildman Harrold's clients highlighted the firm's “depth of expertise,” “excellent quality of work and terrific service,” and its lawyers’ “impressive ability to analyze problems and get up to speed quickly.” Other clients praised the firm for its ability to “always get the job done, while keeping my business objective in mind.” Clients noted that Wildman Harrold lawyers “work extremely effectively” together, making the firm “very easy to work with.” Chambers reported that it “is the group's 'understanding of practical and commercial considerations' that distinguishes it from the pack.”

Wildman Harrold and its attorneys were formally recognized by Chambers as leaders in Privacy and Data Security (National), Product Liability (National), Litigation (Illinois), Corporate M&A/Private Equity (Illinois), Antitrust (Illinois), Media & Entertainment (Illinois) and Environment (Illinois).
