Jamie Rubin is a partner in the Intellectual Property Department of Wildman Harrold. He routinely counsels clients on all aspects of compliance for national, regional and local sweepstakes, skill contests, trade, charitable, reality television and other promotions. Mr. Rubin analyzes ad copy for claim substantiation and compliance with applicable laws, rules and self-regulatory guidelines, and also counsels clients on the legal aspects of social-networking Web sites, viral marketing campaigns, and marketing to wireless devices. He also advises clients on traditional intellectual property issues including copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity and trade secrets.
